Default Temperatures are all the same?

I just got all my parts in the today to build my computer. NZXT black lexa case, EVGA A1 680i motherboard, 8800 gts, 2 gigs of mem, 320 gig hdd sata. I put it all together but i forgot to hook up my side fan. Installed windows xp and got it down just before work. Started it up and it ran great. Ran 3DMark06 and got a 8580 score. I was happy with that. I checked all my temps and this is what they were at. cpu 23-24C HDD 25-26C SYS 24C

I noticed i didn't hook up the side fan and thought oh well i'll get it when i get home from work. I got home shut down my computer, unlocked the case and took the side off. I hooked up the fan and locked it back up. Then i started it up and now all my temps are reading 25C steady. Not bouncing at all. Does this sound fine or does it sound like i screwed something up? Please help

Nar I think your focusing on the CPU, HDD and chipset temps rather then just the PC as a unit. CPU will have a HSF and chipset will have the same. Air flow going through your PC will be more beneficial to things like capacitors, PCI cards and other components. Will also help disperse hot air from HS's and stuff like that. But looking at your temps there so low there is definitely nothing to worry about.
