Default FL Studio

Hi everyone, I thought i would make a thread about fl studio just to chat about it and discuss what techniques you use etc, and also to see if anyone apart from me and halian, use the software, on this forum.

Here's a link if you don't know what it is: http://www.flstudio.com/ I think its worth downloading the demo just to see what it is if you dont know.

Btw if there's anyone here who is interested in learning how to use the software this has to be the best website i've found for tutorials so far: http://www.warbeats.com/

Anyways to get the discussion rolling, I'm thinking if buying a keyboard that i can connect to my comp through midi, and i've got a question; if i want to be able to play the virtual keyboard on screen do i need to buy a keyboard with MIDI IN or MIDI OUT or GENERAL MIDI.

Oh yeh and check this cool guy out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BvWqmGpCAI

Cheers all
salman

Dang, that guy is sweet! Thats some amazing work

Well, I started on a project a while back, and never finished it. Then I lost the original file, and so I just have the mp3. I'll upload it sometime. It's about 45 seconds of "okness"

Yeh he's a legend that goes by the name of ronald jenkees

I like forward to hearing the 45 secs of okness its gotta be better than anything I've made.

Btw halian what do you think of this keyboard: http://www.casio.co.uk/Products/Musi...pecifications/

Its got and USB built in so i dont have to get anything else to make it
compatible with fruity loops, thats what really makes it a good buying point for me. I've seen one for around £110 inc postage and packaging do you think thats a fair price.

Cheers,
salman

http://files-upload.com/

I've just done a quick google search and found this, I've never tried it myself before but I think it should work. I should be getting my keyboard within a couple of weeks so I'll try making a few beats of my own if I can and I'll post em up.
