Angry 15 Pin Power Switch Cord?!

I recently bought a new motherboard to upgrade my machine and when i went to plug the LED/Power Switch in to the motherboard i found that it not match. My motherboard has a 9 Pin connection while my case has a 15 pin connection Help please. Thanks

Are you referring to the front LEDs, switches and all? Are you using some non-standard case? A Dell, HP, Compaq, Gateway, etc...? If so, they usually can be converted by simply tracing the wires/jumpers and wiring accordingly.

Well it's not that the wires are all that different, they are simply laid out differently than a "standard" motherboard. Not knowing exactly how yours works or is laid out, I can't say what goes where. However, you can simply find the wires that match the power LED and plug them into the pins on the motherboard for the power LED. If it's in one large connection, you can typically pull the metal connectors out. Just wrap them in electrical tape or something so they won't short each other out.
