alienationware Gold Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Posts: 386	WinXP stalls on start-up! =( Why does my WinXP home stalls on start-up for a long time (like 1min) before the Windows Security Alerts system tray appears? Incidentally, IE7 can't load web pages until that system tray icon appears. Incidentally, Opera CAN load web pages during this time. Incidentally, this does not happen on a similar WinXP Pro virtual machine setup (VMWare). __________________ Pick-Up KOMmunity - Get the BIG Picture!
