Default Start-Up Problem.

I successfully installed my new motherboard, processer and ram and when i booted up my pc went through the BIOS thing as usual and then came up with the screen tell me that my computer did not succesful startup up last time and that i should pick one of the following options, safe mode etc.. , last known good configuration or start up as normal. Now no matter which one of these i pick my pc procceds to reboot and comes up with the same screen? Little help please? Thanks loads

when you install a new mobo you all so have to reinstall windows/os...

looking2build is right you will have to reinstall windows, you will need an official windows cd a recovery cd wll not work ,if you have an oem windows cd you will be able to use that but you will have trouble activating windows, you can usally ring microsoft and give a reason why you have replaced the mobo and eventually they will activate it.

You have changed your entire system, it will cause errors when you try to boot up using your old installation, so install a fresh copy of windows.

So your saying he should buy another copy of windows install cd with the new cd-key?
