Default my first overclock

well this was my first OC as the thread title suggests, using the system in my sig... e4300 proc on an asus p5k-e/wifi board. after almost having a heartattack about three times from thinking id just fried my system, i managed to get it stable at 234ghz on the stock cooler. all i did was adjust the core speed from 200 to 260 since my multiplier is locked... i will more than likely go for 3.0ghz because ive heard the e4300 is easily capable of it on decent motherboards, even using the stock cooler. what do you think?

the image above reads when my fsb is at 6.0.... (speedstep)

naw man i like the idea behind speedstep... makes a CPU live longer

i caught a pic with the multiplier at 9... so my first OC was from 1.8 to 2.34.... not bad i guess

not bad, but i would honestly turn it off... it won't increase the life of it, by then it would be extinct and may save a whole hour of its like over a period of 100 years

If it were to die, its an excuse to get a new one
