Lightbulb Windows Vista Home Premium Question

i just got windows vista home premium for my desktop and when i go into the system properties i can't connect to a domain, just a workgroup.




any ideas?

sorry but home premium (i think , i maybe wrong) doesn't have the tools to connect to domains. it was made for home use only
Try ultimate or business

uhhh thats annoying....so certain operating systems cannot go on domains?

maybe ill have to find a hack for vista

I know Windows XP Home 32-bit cannot connect to a domain. You have to have Windows XP Professional 32-bit to connect to a domain.

Windows Vista Home Premium may likely have the same issues.

It's probably because Vista has a lot of problems. I would agree with waiting for the service packs to come out, because there are still a lot of problems with Vista at this present time.

Yea i would have to agree with this until the Windows Vista Premium service pack comes out there is not much that you can do sorry

No guys, it's not because of buggy Vista or whatever you would like to call it... IT's a DISABLED Feature b/c you bought for HOME use.....

That's right. You CAN enable Aero, however.
