Thumbs down TAT Underclocks My CPU?

Recently, when-ever I open up Intel TAT, it appears to underclock my CPU and it's deeead slow? I've un-installed it and installed it again, same thing!

It's impossible that it would downclock your CPU to 175/172Mhz. I'm sure it's just an issue with Vista or TAT itself.

Just noticed that sometimes it doesn't open and I get the error sound, you know the one... It used to work just fine too!

I don't have Vista, sorry, it's just a theme.

Are you sure you don't have speedstep enabled in bios?

It wouldn't lower it that much. It usually lowers the multiplier by 2, and lowers the voltage.

I do have it enabled, but it only drops to 1.6Ghz when it kicks in... I don't know what the problem is, I guess I could forget it and just use Core Temp as it displayed pretty much the same temps...
