Default Building a Web Server

Needs to be capable of streaming media files (flv) and other files up to 4GB (hdd supported using NTFS, not FAT32). Any help appreciated. Suggestions are welcomed.

If your gonna do it from home I would use a PC with good NIC's in for a start. Also make sure you have a good upload speed via ur ISP if your planning to stream up to 4gb of data!

I would make your PC or what eva ur using into an Apache web server, more info here.. http://httpd.apache.org/

EDIT: I'm guessing you mean a server to connect to externally?

If its a internal server for home use or what eva down worry about the above, I suggest using NIC's that support 1Gb transfer rate and use CAT5e or CAT6 ethernet cable atleast for best results.
