Question pc speakers for laptop? =/

i brought a pair of speakers for my laptop, a 5.1 surround system thing. I have green, black & orange plugs, which then go into a box which comes out with red & white, is there anyway to connect from here to my laptop? my laptop has a headphone socket, USB's, a yellow socket for... a mouse? and a grey socket =/

there must be some way to use descent speakers on a laptop?

i awiat your reply, thanks! dean

Sounds like an RCA adapter is what you need.

Might wanna get second opinions.

yeah you can basically hook up any audio setup with the right adapters...I personally love monster stuff, but it is over kill unless your hardcore on sound. but yeah if the red and white are typical RCA get an RCA to 1/8th inch adapter...I am asuming with everyone else that they red and white are RCA. But yeah you can find those at any target/wal-mart store, i have seen em from any where to 5-25 bucks.
