Post Logical Drive

Ok, I was thinking of making a partition on my hard drive for about 10gb of space for my music. My friend said I should setup a logical drive and be able store my music straight from under My Computer and under Hard Disk Drives. Is this possible and worth doing.

yeau but ya have to set up a secondary partition on the primary. other words if the primary is 100gig and you want a secondary it will be maybe 50 gig. then you would have c: primary and secondary d: Logical drives is diffirent. you want more drives you create logical drives within the secondary. like e: f: and g:

You use fdisk to partition your drives then format command and format each drive.

Or there are other nice programs available. like partition magic which will easily do from windows.

In place of secondary replace with extended.
thats what you will ses with fdisk. extended.
