I wanted to get some opinions about the QX9650 3.0 GHz (130 W TDP) and the Q9550 2.83 GHz (95 W TDP). My issue is about the power consumption vs. speed factor along with overclocking. Would the tdp be close to that of the 9650 if it was overclocked to similar speeds or higher? That's basically my question.

Unless I'm missing something between the 2 chips the TDPs should be the same if clocked to the same speed.
