http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824252008
Pros: 16.2 Million Display Colors, 800:1 Ratio, Better ratings, "2x Winner of Customer Choice Award - LCD Monitors, $30 MIR. Cons: A little more expensive, I've never heard of this brand before, MIR. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009102 Pros: 16.2 Million Display Colors, 800:1 Ratio, I've heard of the brand before, a little cheaper than the ChiMei. Cons: Not as good ratings as the ChiMei, 16.2M display colors compared to the other Acer. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009094 Pros: 16.7 Million Display Colors, good brand, same price as the 16.2M Display Colors. Cons: Only a 700:1 ratio I'm really leaning toward the ChiMei, but if someone has had a lot of bad experience with it, I'd go for one of the Acers. The problem I'm having about the Acers is that they are the same price, but one is 800:1 with 16.2M colors, and the other is 700:1 with 16.7 colors. If the color thing doesn't really match up to the ratio, then I'd go for the 800:1. Plus the ChiMei has a $30 MIR, but seeing as how I haven't gotten my MIRs from my last purchases (my computer in August) that's not a real big selling point. Suggestions? (decided to make my 250th post pretty)

I have that chimei one. I've never had any problems with it. I'd sell it to you if you want.

I've had it since Sept of 06, little over a year. I dunno, like 150 + shipping? I've got the CD and paper manual along with power and dvi cable.

Just to clear it up, which is more important? The amount of display colors or the Ratio?

None, works like a champ. Can switch between multiple inputs. No dead pixels.
