Hi there, this is my first post. I am researching the current technology behind user uploaded video sites such as youtube. Can anyone tell me what underlying technology (e.g.javascript etc.) is used by Youtube? also how does this technology compare to a simpler site such as ultimate-guitar.com.
Can anyone direct me to a good source of information in this subject?

try visiting your website of choice and select view source from your list of options. all the code that is written will open up in notepad or whatever basic text program you have
