The question is does it matter which dvd drive you buy? Do they all have the same connections and will fit every PC?

there's both IDE and SATA CD/DVD drives now. most motherboards have SATA connectors on them now, but i would pop it open just to make sure before you buy anything.
==== maybe i misread the question. yes, they all have the same connections, either sata or ide. |
