Default Does it matter which DVD player you buy?

The question is does it matter which dvd drive you buy? Do they all have the same connections and will fit every PC?

there's both IDE and SATA CD/DVD drives now. most motherboards have SATA connectors on them now, but i would pop it open just to make sure before you buy anything.

maybe i misread the question. yes, they all have the same connections, either sata or ide.
