I just have a general question about my new card..ok i traded in my 7950 gt 512 yesturday.i got it from comp usa and bought the extended warrenty.so i picked out my card in the same price range as the old one.they told me the 8800gts was my best bet.but it doesnt have as much G-Memory as my old one,but it does support dx10..did i make the right choice in my card? or should i have gotten the 8600 with more G-Memory? ohh and this this was my 1st build and everything went smooth!! finished yesturday nite,my wife was even helping me it was a family event!! so i guess its official!!!!! im a Geek yay

I'm pretty sure that the (320) 8800GTS is $250 on newegg after rebates. An 7950 is around $250-$290.
How much did you get yours for?

Why is the 7950 for expensive?
Zero, you seen an increase in performance, I'm thinking of doing the same thing you see

How much did you pay for it?
And the 8800GTS 320MB is by far better then your previous card, and especially better then the 8600GTS 512MB. Memory isn't the biggest factor in performance.
