Default Which RAM should i get?

Which would be a better option for gaming?

4096MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [4x1024]

OR

3048MB 800MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x1024/2x512]

Is a higher speed better or is more space better for gaming?

For better gaming, I'd opt for the '4096MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [4x1024]'. More space/memory does result in smoother game performance. On the other hand '3048MB 800MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x1024/2x512]' is also fantastic. Technically, both will give you incredible results.

What operating system do you have? If you have Windows XP 32-bit you will not be able to utilize more than 3.25 gigabytes of memory. Windows XP 32-bit doesn't recognize more than 3.25 - 3.5 gigabytes of RAM.

You will likely not see much difference in performance with DDR2 667 and DDR2 800 Random Access Memory. I would go with DDR2 800 memory if you want memory for gaming.

I also would go with a good brand of memory like OCZ.
