I have Outlook 2003 with Office 2003 SP3 installed and I have problems with sending read receipt for one email which I got. I am using Gmail POP3 access and my Outlook 2003 can not send this read receipt back to the sender of the email. I get this '0x8004210B error' message everytime when I press Send/Receive button, but there is no remaining email in the Outbox Folder.
I already read a lot of other Forums on the internet regarding this problem, but none of their solutions helped me. Microsoft also has something about this problem on their webpage, but they only offer Hotfix for Exchange 2000 users, which I am not. I also tried to change the Gmail SMTP server to some other free SMTP server, just to check if there is anything wrong with the Gmail SMTP server, but the problem remained unsolved. Does anybody know anything about this? It is really annoying to get this error message 50 times a day. MrOsh |
