Well the 45nms are coming out: Intel 45nm CPUs Price List. When they do come out, the Q6600's price will drop a lot, but I'm considering the Q9450, as it is about as much as the Q6600 now.

So the new ones are coming out Jan 2008. How much better are they going to be? like should i just buy a E6600 and overclock it or wait the 3month and get the new Q9400?

You'll regret it if you don't. Then again, I'm not sure if your mobo supports 45nm cpu's?

If you were to get the E6600, it's still better to wait until then, because the price should drop. Overall waiting would be your best bet.

I'm looking up info on your mobo and I'm not finding anything that says it is 45nm ready as it is a 965 chipset. I don't think you'll be able upgrade to the new cpu's anyway.
