hey guys,
I'm looking for a sound system to go with my new rig (in sig) atm i'm using some no brand piece of crap 2.0 system im looking to upgrade to a 2.1 or 5.1 but i cant spend anymore than $120 id prefer a 2.1 system as i only have a small desk but if there is a sweet as 5.1 system ill check it out too. , Thnx

hey guys i was looking at altec lansing for about a week, they have great sound quality but are quite pricy compared to some alternatives.

You pay for quality. Not sure if it's true but I was informed that Altec Lansing are only second best to Bose.
As long as you're happy with your choice, that's all that matters. ![]()

Ive had many and the ones i see above will work fine. Im using a Yamaha ive had for 10 years and still works. Nice idea about the bose system thogh. My next wing might be the bose sound system and i will look considering im very happy with the tv system.

There are many articles online criticizing Bose. Of course you can't believe them all, but piecing together information, you do get a sense of how they're HTPC's aren't worth what they cost.

I got altec lancing satalites and a 6" sub, sounds alright. I preffer running through my home system, im really picky with my sound tho. Anyone thats looking for speaks in the gta princess auto has the altec's I mentioned for 80 bucks. Well worth it imo. I don't like bose's stuff much either.
