It is very risky, without proper airflow the heatsink and CPU will overheat very quickly, your processor is actually running at a high, sporadic load when in the BIOS, and even with a proper HSF your temps will climb very quickly in a few minutes.
Just wait until you get your new heatsink and fan, there's really no point in making those changes now anyways, you can't do anything else and you wont be able to determine if it will be stable or not.
