Okay, so I have a Seagate external harddrive that I bought, and while I was transferring some files, it froze. I couldn't safely eject the drive so I just unplugged it and when I plugged it back in, it said there was data corruption. And now it seems as if my computer doesn't recognize the drive at all. I checked in disk management and device manager, the drive doesn't appear there either. Is there any way for me to access my drive? Is there any way for me to somehow format the drive of it's corrupt files and have it work or is my drive just messed up? Is there any way for me to get my files back without a data recovery company?
Thank you. |
