Help with Laptop HDD
Could someone recommend a good replacement drive for this model.
HP Pavilion dv6000 40GB SATA 1.5Gb/s Ultra ATA/100 hard drive - 5,400 RPM, 2.5in form factor, 9.5mm thick, 434415-001B I would like it to be a 60GB @ 7200RPM though....

You can't have sata and a ultra ata/100 hard drive. Your system has a SATA drive. Just look on newegg.com for compatible drives such as these...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...0GB+and+higher These are all SATA 150 models. 4200 rpm and higher and also 80 gb and higher. Not sure if your model laptop would work with a 7200 rpm drive, contact HP for support on it.
