Arrow Fireworks CS3

I downloaded the Fireworks CS3 trial, wanting to make text, with a transparent background.

For Counter Strike: Source.

So, any tips or anything would be nice.

Thanks.

You can set the background as transparent when you select it's colour, it's like a grey box with a red line through it.

Although, if you export the image, I'm pretty sure that the background will shop up white...

And should I save it as a .Bmp?

Thanks.

Would it be easier in Photoshop CS3?
I can get the trial.

I just want text with a transparent background for CSS, so when I spray the spray, only the text appears on whatever surface its on. And also, whats the best format for it?

Thanks.

When you create a new sheet just tell it to make it "transparent" or pull up your image and copy it then select the background and at the bottom of the screen you'll see a "properties" section.. you'll see a few drop down boxes on the right side of that section with value of 100 and normal.. click the one that says 100 and drag the bar down all the way.. after you let go it'll turn your background or whatever you had selected transparent.
