Default Looking For A Reliable Performance Laptop

I am looking for a reliable performance laptop. I really like the design of some of the HP laptops and i am looking to spend no more than £1000 (GBP). I won't be using the laptop for gaming mainly Photoshop CS3, Dreamweaver, Flash etc. I am not to worried about weight or screensize.

Do C2D lapptops perform closely to C2D desktops.

Let me know if thir is aything else you want to know as i am happy to help.

I would definitely get an hp laptop. I have an hp dv8000z right now, and I love it. It works very well for whatever I want to do, including games and some editing with PhotoShop, and I have never had any problems with it. If the operating system is a concern, I would definitely stick with windows xp if you can, or at least stay away from Vista.

As I say with all notebook suggestion threads, take a look at Asus. From what I've read and experienced, Asus makes a solid notebook.

I've had 3 Dell's and they've all performed great, are pretty durable, and offer a really low price with lots of discounts.
