Default internet explorer

I use internet explorer as my home page. For some reason when I logged on the other day, the toolbar across the top where you type in web addresses was gone. Can someone please tell me how to get it back? Thanks in advance.

If you are not seeing a problem with IE itself the address bar, links, menu bar, status bar are seen in the right click menu with a check mark next to the ones you see when opening IE up. Are you running IE 6 or 7? If you are currently running IE 6 go for the updated IE that now provides better security.
