Have you compared prices with Tiger or do you insist on using Newegg? Tiger is having some nice deals right now on a few parts, so you may want to check them out. You might save a bit.

Motherboard is alright, cpu isn't just get the Q6600 cuz the price between the small difference in mhz in both of those cores doesn't justify the price, if you're actually getting a mother board with a x38 chipset why no go for the 8800gt which performs around the 8800gtx yes is half the price

As for the motherboard, if you dont want the SLI option i'd get a p35 DS3L or p35 DS3R

You can't get any on Newegg right now. I'll see if they're selling elsewhere.

EDIT: clubit has the Asus model.

wow... I feel stupid now, I swear I put in 8800GT..... Oh well.

Ok now here's the kicker, what would be better? 2 of the 8800GT's, or just one of the video card I chose?

Anything else other than the video card?

I think the general opinion here is that SLI is a waste. All you should need is the 8800gt. That should run everything very nice.

But if you insist, then go ahead and get 2 8800gt's, and let us know how it runs.
