Default Avatar question

OK, maybe I missed this or maybe there is a problem with my internet browser.

Where did all the avatars go? I can't see any.

Also, I tried to upload a new one for myself, and it doesn't work.

Active x controls can be a pain at times can't they? I run into this at times on other forums where I fight with the settings and the security bar for IE 7 and then they finally work. Try going to java.com and getting the latest 8.11 version on. That may be the problem there.

It is selected, although a number of other options I previously checked/un-checked seem to be reset. Hmm, maybe I'm jsut crazy?

I did just update Firefox (what I'm having problems with) so there may prove to be an issues with the newest version.

I CAN see the avatars in IE, but not Firefox.

I re-installed Java and still no bueno. Hmm....think think think.

Maybe I should just uninstall and re-install all of Firefox. I've been playing with a bunch of extensions/Add-ons lately and it has probably confused itself lol.

Hmm well does anyone know how to uninstall and re-install Firefox without losing all of your bookmarked sites?

I have at least 40 that I cannot afford to lose.

EDIT - NVM. Found it - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic65275.html

Wow...well that did nothing. Just re-installed and rebooted and still no avatars. They work on all the other forums I visit.

:sigh:

i don't even bother with it, i didn't even take itco consideration that this was a huge problem, or is it ?
