Default mapping problem....

hi..

i've got problem with mapping pc....i've 4 pc's n 1 server connected through LAN, all pc have to able to map hd of the server...n now all can map...but there's one pc got problem...every time i shutdown or restart, all hd which i map from the sever missing suddenly.....so everytime i on it, i've re-mapping the hd again...what's the problem acctualy ya???

sometimes, depending on the operating system there is a box that says "reconnect at logon" make sure this box is checked otherwise the mapped drive will go away every time you restart your computer.

you can slo make the mapped drive persistent by doing
net use /persistent: yes (in command prompt)
I also have a file server with mapped drives and some users say after reboot they lose the connection but simply entering the password solves the problem
