Smile How do you hookup the sound from the TV to the Computer?

I am buying this tv: ($660)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16889022011

I am also looking to buy a sound card and speakers (both 7.1 hopefully) for under $150 to hook up to this TV when I get it.

Looking at all of the inputs I now have a question...
How do I get the sound coming from the TV to run through my 7.1 card and speakers?

Could you guys help me pick out some speakers and a card that equal out to about $150?

Alright so I googled "plug tv into sound card"

http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showthread.php?t=16251

I really don't understand the answer the guy gave the other guy, but maybe this will help you.

Kent.

You need a RCA to stereo 3.5mm converter. Something like this
http://www.amazon.com/RCA-3-5mm-Y-Ad.../dp/B00021ELDY

You plug the 3.5mm end into your line-in and the other end to the audio-out of your TV (assuming it has that).

Well since the sound signal is now running to the computer, your computer speakers should handle the tv.
