hi
I have everything set up and It recording fine, cassette tape plug in right I have all the correct setting done, and also I can record. the problems is that when I playing the cassette tape, there no sound coming out of the speakers I can;t hear my self whats on the tape does anyone know how to fix this, also I'm using Vista Thanks |

Go to volume control, options, advanced controls, and then go to mic in and press unmute.

see if there is a pre amp or other volume setting in the recording software you are using. also watch out for noise with higher volumes. if your software has noise canclation sampling recoder a part of the tape that has no audio on it so you can capture a bit of the noise that is produced from the device.
