Default Post your electronic adventures!!!

ok here is my current adventure, hooking strange things up to batteries and seeing what happens. (if you cant tell from the picture, i have five 12V fans bridged on a 9.6V RC car battery. it feels like i have a draft in here!!! i also have a BB gun that with my laser dot scope can hit the center of a light pole perfectly at 50 yards

so everyone post your little inventions or adventures with anything electronic, besides whole computers unless you are cooling it in oil!!!

EDIT: the fans are actually moving in these pictures, but the camera seems to be faster and caught them as a still image

I hooked 3 80mm PSU fans to an External PSU... I went to 36V but it didn't even run max. then I made it run in one connection (I did - + - + -+ , now - - - + + +) and I went to 20V. Then it blew.

And I hooked up an 18V RC battery to an pair of speakers. Gave me great sound before it blew.

I made an DSL cooler back then...

I have an bunch of modded weapons ( spud guns, ect)

- Being able to stop motion is not what makes a camera good. All that shows is that it has at least a semi decent shutter speed

Also, neither does the amount of mega pixels make the camera. Frankly it holds almost no value imo compared to other more important features.

Bob

I haven't done that much electrical work lately.
However, i'm about to throw together some battery packs for my rc cars, so I may post that up.
