Default narrator won't shut up

Hello
I think this is probably a real dumb question but I can't get narrator (vista) to stop initializing whenever I log on. I have to exit it every time. Does anyone know how to put this annoying thing back where it came from?
thanks
Rob

Have you tried this?
Control Panel/ Ease of Access/ Ease of Access Center/ Explore all Settings Use the computer without a display. Untick the checkbox of Turn on Narrator and Save.
