Default NetGear Router.

At work, they have a NetGear Ethernet hub, that gives an Ethernet internet connection, but now, they connected a NetGear Router, How do I connect to it?

Like where is the WEP at? I tried using the serial, but it didn't work. I dont think there is a phone line plugged into the router, would that solve it?

Thanks.

Alright.

It shouldn't matter that I am on a Mac, using Safari or Camino, right?

Also, do I need the serial?

And, I cant find it on my Wireless Settings, though its not that far away from me, do I just stay unconnected, type that address in, and I connect?

Thanks.

So they connected a wireless router to the ethernet hub? If the wireless is enabled then you should be able to see the connection using a wireless manager, however if the SSID is hidden then you may not be able to see it.

The WEP isn't the serial/model number, whoever set up the router must have enabled WEP and used a password that he/she chose, so you would need to ask them.

No thats not how you connect, when you see the connection listed you should be able to connect to it that way, however as I said before if the SSID is hidden then you need to manually configure the connection with the correct SSID and WEP information.
