Hey, I just got a new computer, and so I put the old one in the basement. YEsterday I went down there and took it apart completely. The only useful pieces were the two 128MB PC100 ram sticks. I tried to put them into our other compter that only had 256MB as well*. The other computer only had two ram slots, so we put one in, and the PC wouldn't start. Tried the same thing with the other stick, same problem. I'm probably going to give the sticks away to my friend who has some crappy 64MB junk, but I'm curious as to why this happened?
*Other computer, not the new one. |

the old ram was probably sd ram whilst the other computer could only take ddr ram, which would cause the computer not to start
