What's going on guys? I have a problem, I'm not quite sure if it's a big problem, but quite an irritating one. It seems the spacebar on my laptop is continually being activated, it's like someone is holding down the spacebar. However the spacebar on my laptop still works it's not stuck or anything like that.
This is kind of a odd problem so I wasn't able to just look it up in google or anything. I have tried to system restore my computer with no luck. Also to do anything on my laptop is very difficult considering the space bar button it continually being set off. My laptop is a 1330 dell xps purchased about two months ago with vista. THis problem started occuring yesterday when I was watching a mp4 file with vlc. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you. |

LMAO, I just have to explain how much of an idiot I am lol. So I unplugged my belkin usb hub which has my external hard drive and wireless mouse receiver plugged in. I did this because I was going to try and take my keyboard apart, well right when I unplugged the hub from my router it stopped hitting the spacebar.
I was like alright well the problem must of went away. So I plugged the hub back in and the problem persisted. Then I thought maybe the external hard drive is doing something now, but before I could fiddle with that I thought to myself. I have a wireless mouse connected to my laptop the same one I used for my desktop, but I don't use my desktop anymore so I use the mouse from that on my laptop (getting repetitive). I then realized that my wireless mouse came with a wireless keyboard which use the same receiver. We'll apparently it has quite along reach because I set a book on that keyboard last night which has apparently been setting off the spacebar the past 18 hours. Ohh man so much time wasted. |
