You have Viewpoint installed.

Viewpoint Media Player/Manager/Toolbar is considered as foistware instead of malware since it is installed without users approval but doesn't spy or do anything bad.

I suggest you remove the program now. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present.
  • Viewpoint
  • Viewpoint Manager
  • Viewpoint Media Player
  • Viewpoint Toolbar
  • Viewpoint Experience Technology

Your logfile also shows remnants of Norton Antivirus, although the full program is not installed. My guess would be that you had it at one point, before uninstalling it in favour of AntiVir. If that's the case, I suggest running the Norton Removal Tools to remove these remnants: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...05033108162039

That aside, there's nothing showing in your HijackThis log. Let's look a little deeper:

1. Please download this file - Combofix to your desktop
2. Double click ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply.

Note:
Do not mouseclick ComboFix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

I really need to see the log that Combofix produces. Please run it again and post that log.

Yes - I wouldn't have asked you to download it if I thought it would damage your system.

That log looks clean as well. There is one malware file showing, but it's not active. I suggest removing it all the same:

Please set Windows to show hidden files:
  • Click Start.
  • Open My Computer.
  • Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
  • Select the View Tab.
  • Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
  • Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
  • Click Yes to confirm.
  • Click OK.

Please delete the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\egjlm.bak1

Can you give me some more information about these popups. When do they occur? What are they advertising? A screenshot would be helpful as well.
