how about mac's for a workstation?
would a mac pro offer decent performance?
it can have dual xeon cpu's and an FX5600

but its more expensive

i have noticed that Maya will run on mac. autocad will not.

so is there a mac equivelent of autocad that alot of mac users use that i dont know about? or arent mac's used for that sort of programming?
