What socket is this for? Do you want AGP or PCI-E (if it's available)?

Dell's don't take traditional motherboards. Dells use BTX. Why do you need a new motherboard?

Well, you'd be better off using a cheap case and move the parts into there rather than trying to use the old Dell case and a BTX mobo.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you don't know what a CPU socket is or what kind to get, you shouldn't be building/replacing computer parts.

First, AGP is not a type of CPU socket. He was asking two different questions. He was asking the CPU socket, and the main expansion port (PCI-E, or AGP).

Here are your particular specifications:

I was wrong in my first guess, the 2200 is came out before Dell started using BTX boards, so any ATX board will fit the case. However, the board definitely does not have an ATX slot. If the CPU is bad as well, are you are wanting to make a new build using the old components, I would just look for a cheap mobo + CPU combo.
