Angry This is driving me NUTS!

Ok, this is a really stupid question but I can't sort it out without some help.

Every time I go to Google and start typing, a dropdown box appears below the panel I am typing in showing a list of previous searches. I must have activated it somehow but I can't find out how to turn it off.

I hate not knowing - please help

Thanks,
Ralph.

in ie
1. Go to the "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Internet Options."
3. Select the "Content" tab.
4. Within the "Personal Information" area, select "AutoComplete."
5. Click on "Clear Forms." You can also uncheck the "Forms" box in this same window to keep this information from being stored in the future.
