ok so am customizing my icons a bit.
Before i go any further, yes i have icon packager but i don't wanna use it.resource hogger ok back to topic. I'm using Axialis Iconworkshop to change some of my icons, namely folders,cd-drives, hard drives etc. As you can see from the shot most of them have change but this program doesn't change icons from EXE's ![]() is there any program you guys know of (freeware) that can change the icons of programs (firefox,outlook express etc), those embeded in exe's ?? ![]() i'm googling now but to no avail. i don't wanna create short-cut to the program i wanna replace the real one ![]()

I doubt there will be a program to do it, as icons for .exe's like the ones you're looking at are stored in the program file, not in the windows system files like the others. You should be able to go in and manually edit them though. Just do a search for *.ico and find the ones you want to replace. Rename or delete them, and then put the icon that you want in the same place with the original name.

yeah i've some a few on google (shareware) i tried them but they didn't work, and it keeps on warning me that my program might not work, oh well might as well use Iconpackager..lol
