don't worry I wouldn't even want to mess with that stuff. Looks like I'll either have to buy the software or try something else.

Yeah, maybe apj101 will issue infractions.

NJNETSFAN, why don't you try any other free word processor? You can search on download.com . Most of them are free and the setup files are also small AND they have loads of features just like MS Office...

Yup yup! Try OpenOffice. Much better than MS Office: http://www.openoffice.org/

Don't bash, I use both. MS 2003 for when I'm in XP and for work, and OO for everything else, and from my experience, OO is far superior.

Im still using office 2000 or something.
IDK, word processing seems pretty simple, i dont see how they couldve added too many "Must have" features.

I believe that the reason that it will not allow you to install the trail version again is that you have to activate the product over the internet when you install it. I don't think that there is anything that you can do on your computer to correct this, since Microsoft has your info on their end.

This was my experience with CS3. I even reformated my hard drive to factory (because of an unrelated issue) and it still would not let me install Flash CS3 again.

I could be wrong, but it makes sense.

I got it to work . Only needed to delete one file and a simple google search gave me the answer. I should have done that first. Anyway, thanks for everyone's input. I'm good until January 31st now . Here's the link to the fix: (I used method 3) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919895
