Default Microsoft Office 2007 trial expired

ok when this happens I normally just go and get another trial key from microsoft and it works for another 60 days. The reason I do the trials is because I don't use the software enough to spend the $150+ it costs to have the full version. So anyway I completely unistalled office out of my computer and redownloaded it from microsoft.com and installed it with a new product key from microsoft.com and it still says my trial has expired. I'm guessing this is because microsoft got "smart" now and its in your registry somehow that you used the trial up? I'm not asking for an illegal way around this so please don't post up those responses.

lol, I understand, so you're just tricking your PC that you are actually installing for the first time, so your pc was clever enough to know, lol, joking, probably there's preferences left in the registry or application data folder which remains intact or points to the license, same sh*t like norton..lol
why not get the full version of office 2003 ?

Whats the difference in price between office 2003 and 2007? I mean like I said, i can't see spending $150 on a software that I don't use that often.

I have both 2003 and 2007. I don't like 2007. its mostly the format and looks. Anyway theres a good chance if you buy 2007 and share files they might not be compatible with other people. You have to remember to save properly for compatibility with older ver's. 2003 works fine. Im using enterprise.

How about trying to delete the MS Office Registry key and doing a fresh install?

I've never messed with the registry so I'd have no clue what I'm doing.

You could just create a backup of your registry, navigate to HKCU->Software
->Microsoft->Windows->Deleting Office?
