Default burning DVD's

I am having a problem with my new computer and the same that I had with my old computer burning DVD's. Things went fine as I burned DVD's but am seeing that the DVD's that I burn stutter and stop on my DVD player and it is a new DVD player. I have been buring TV series and I see a change in the picture and it stops and gets all distorted. The program that I use for burning and comes with my computer is is DVD Shrink to burn on to my hard drive and then Power2Go to burn it on to a disc. I did use imgburn but had no idea how to set any of the settings on there. It shows on Power2Go that the DVD burns all of the way but still is not looking good on my DVD player. I also use Maxell DVD+R to burn on. I see changes mostly at the end of the burned DVD.

A few suggestions, burn the dvd at a slower speed, see if that does anything for you.

If that doesn't work try different discs or software. Check the label on the pack of DVD's and see if you can find the code listed here. This will give you an idea of the quality of the DVDr.

Have you tried the dvd in a different player?
