Default Got some trouble with accounts?

Everytime I start my computer I cant do alot of things, like going to the control panel, its not there, and I try to change settings and it says I dont have permission on this account??? I've never made any other user name...this just came up one day. What do I do? I cant change anything!!! How do I get back to admin status? And some error pops up when I start, about shell.exe.....I need help badly here!!!!

so whats the account called anyways, guest ?
if so you will need to log in as admin, hold ctrl+alt+del at the log in screen to get the classic log on and change the name to admin.
If i'm really understanding the matter that is

if you add a password to you account then it will go to the login screen and then you can do what patrickv suggested.

I cant even get to the screen where I can put a password on. It says im not allowed to on this account. Maybe it has something to do with that shell.exe error?
