Exclamation Helping someone on TRF

And it has to be under 300pounds. They found this but I think it will be completely slow

It has celeron M
it has 1gb ram

So that would be bad alltogether because to run vista smoothly it needs at least pentium 4 and 2gb ram

Yep, my laptop has 1GB of RAM (2GB Tuesday!) and it takes 4 minutes to load Vista! Plus it takes ages to load up apps like Ventrilo, PC World also may still do a cheap EI System laptop, it isn't brilliant but I got it for £280 and stuck a £20 Corsair 1GB stick in it and it works well. It haa XP Home though if they REALLY want Vista.
