Does anyone want to start a hamachi server for games?

it's like LAN but through the internet. correct me if i'm wrong. i have hamachi. i really don't know it's purpose because i don't use it a lot.

how is it similar to lan then? the way its set up?

i have no idea. lol. when me and friends set up a game it's usually seen under the LAN portion.

example when in bf2 under multiplayer it'll show up under LAN.

we use hamachi so we have our own private server. haha!

hamachi is a program that crates a virtual lan connection over the internet.. so if you have it enabled, and have a network with someone say in the UK or so, you can just clikc the Lan tab in games, and it will find them too. that way you can play games over the internet who would normally only work on lan for example.

why not just play games over the internet? I think Himachi would probably have some kind of security flaw or over head, if it is really VPN type software.
