Arrow Looking for laptop

I'm looking for a laptop for college now. Some specs that I want are, a core 2 duo processor, 2gigs of ram, and a nice video card (fore example the 8600m GT), and a widescreen resolution of 1680 x 1050 or better. My price range is 1000-1300, but I am willing to spend a little more.

The best laptop I have found sofar is this one

Seems good, but isn't that processor 64 bit and that operating system 32 bit? Wouldn't that be a waste?

People still use x86 because of compatibility. You will have a tough time looking for x64 drivers. It wouldn't really be a waste, unless you installed 4 gigs of ram.

It looks like a nice laptop, but the processor is a little slow.
