Does anyone know if XP supports Core 2 Duo CPUs and SLI? Or will I have to go with Vista?
Also, I used to play around with Linux, but it was never a viable option for me cuz of all the games and stuff I wanted to do. Does anyone know if Linux has gotten more compatible and if more games and emulators and stuff work on Linux these days? Does Linux support SLI & Core 2 Duo? |

XP Supports both.
Linux is not for hardcore gamers, but some work under Wine and emulators. Linux supports C2D, C2Q, and anything else the future will throw at it. As far as SLI stuff...not sure. GPU's *used* to be a hassle, but they're now very easy to install. I would imagine SLI would be no different than a stand-alone GPU with today's kernels. But than again...why have SLI if you can't hardcore game on the OS?
