Default Access Denied Message...

Hey guys... I have a harddrive that was in my old pc that crashed a few months back and i would like to transfer my files from that old hdd to my new pc hd. Problem i get is when i try to transfer them since it used to be the main hdd and has windows its telling me access denied. Is there a way around this i didnt have a password of any kind on my pc...

On your old PC did you have an account with a username and password? If you did create the same account with the same username and password. Restart windows and you should have access to the drive.

unfortuintely there is no security tab like that suggests anyone else got any suggestions? Thanks though tft shame it just wasnt quite right...

Other than saying that the Security tab option should show up in Safe Mode, sorry I can't help you.
